Not a dime Steve. Honest to God. My reward is I didn't have to do all that work myself, which I would never have gotten off my ass to do, so I am quite the happy camper to have helped where I could. By the way, I was stomping the flat rate system long long before you showed up on forums. I believe I had a lot to do with a lot of the current grasshoppers here about it, and now I have my fun with poking at everything else in the universe while they carry on the work I and a few others started when AOL was still king of the hill.

Don't forget to find some of those extremely dangerous missing covers on junction boxes in the attic, I hit em for a $100 for those every time.

Just did thus today actually. Put some spares in a nail on and a cover on an other took all of 15 min. Gotta love that my company has a one hour min for service calls.

I found this jumble of wires leading to a junction box in an attic. This is the difference between an electrician and a master electrician.

I once worked on a $2+ million home that had connections like that. Turns out the idiot homeowner had done it himself. Too cheap to hire an electrician. I shot him a price to rewire the whole thing a left.

Went on a inspection repair job yesterday. Inspector caught the over fused breakers and a missing GFCI. Completely failed to note the water heater 6 inches away from the front of the panel. The door wouldn't even open all the way. While searching for the GFCI reset, found four or five other things he missed.

They seem to have taken a new tactic. I read reports that will say, " one or more outlets have open ground". What? Does that mean 1 or 100? How lazy can you be? Same with the breakers in the above situation. Just mentioned "some" have over fusing. So now I charge for a full re-inspection if the jerk won't be more specific.

These people have no clue what there doing. I hope some legal suit takes place and the entire HI system is overhauled. HI forums are living proof they are in over their heads more than they realize.
