Hi guys

This is a Surge Protector

Enlighten me, how does this work, the only thing I see is plastic and some cooper ??? where is the MOV ?

I guess if the "surge" is strong enough, that unit will blow up and open the circuit.

Looks like the MOV is missing.
A quick Google for the manufacturer draws a complete blank.
Is this possibly some sort of counterfeit product?

With both AC or DC the system or circuit will see all of the surge.

They know all about the physical aspects of employing metal.

IMSWV (in my small world view)

It's a yen yan trigger!

It will sudu act like a fuse, including acting like a magnetic to draw more to work the release mechanic of whats used..

It looks like stranded which is perfect and would heat up the individual strands and toast the connection those releasing the weld.

Why is everyone so surprised then these things work. :rolleyes:
