My guess, late 50's, early 60's. No alternative means of connecting, back stab only. Looks like it could be Sierra.my guess would be mid 70s
i think thats when they first started coming out with back-stab type outlets
Scape all the sheetrock spray and see the maker's name and the U/L symbol.

could be i started apprenticing in the late 70's most of the outlets we worked with had screw terminals onlyMy guess, late 50's, early 60's. No alternative means of connecting, back stab only. Looks like it could be Sierra.

What kind of wire was it attached to? I'm usually pretty good judging by the age of the house. My guess is October 1954.
