Hello guys!
Im looking into starting an ice cream truck business this summer and need an advice. I have two options for energy supply

1) 8000watt generator (possibly loud and expensive)
2) 8000watt inverter (silent and cheap) that works from battery and probably would need an alternator upgrade to 200amps or so

Equipment that i will be running ( freezer, hot water heater, water pump, music box, ice shaver machine, a few lights,) all of this adds up to around 6500watts (surge) and around 3000watts or so in continuous usage.

My question is this. Should i use the inverter or the generator for electricity? Generator is easy to install but could be very loud and expensive. The power inverter is cheaper and silent but needs a lot of wiring and upgrades to the car. Will the battery be recharging fast enough with 200amp alternator to supply that 6500watts that i need to run the truck, or i would need something like a marine battery?
