Is it hazardous location? Glycol is used in hazardous location unit heaters because it keeps the surface temperature of the elements lower. Essentially, there are electric immersion heaters inside the elements and the elements are filled with glycol. They are factory sealed and any repairs to the glycol system have to be factory authorized.

How big of a heater? Small electric building heater in a haz location (Ruffneck)? Larger building heater with a glycol line in and out, a coil and an electric motor? Glycol in-floor heating? Line heater for a gas gathering system?
