What is a good infrared thermometer that isn't "over-the top" expensive?
Mainly to check breakers and connections in a panel.

Thanks! I don't really think I need one with the thermocouple. I will look at the lower priced Flukes and see if they have the thermocouple or not.

I have been using a fluke 62 for several year now and it has met all my needs. What I really want is a FLIR thermal image scope, not that I need it or have a legitimate business use for it, I just think it is fun to play with.

For as often as I need one, I picked up the Greenlee. Got it for $30. No thermocouple, but the range and accuracy make it worthwhile for occasional use.

I am exactly the same way. Probly something I will buy on a spur of the moment purchase. Probably after a few to many.:devil2:
