Am looking at installing a 30a inlet and interlock kit for my neighbor as a favor/barter. The house was built in 1965 with a 200a ITE panel. None of the kits/measurements from interlock.com seem to correspond to his panel. I know there are other companies/options that I haven't checked yet. The cover has been stripped of stickers and painted inside and out in silver. I understand I can have one made if I provide the measurements. Has anybody had one made? If so, what can I expect as far as price and turn around time. Thanks.

Those after market interlock kits are kinda crappy and I only use them as a last resort.
You can do it by measurements but maybe consider a Cutler Hammer retro fit kit and a factory made interlock kit.
I agree, but some times "cheap and easy" is what the customer wants.

Try natramelec.com.
Actually, the closest to my panel is the sqD kit. Possibly the GE kit. I am getting measurements tomorrow and contacting them for a price. My 2nd option is to check a couple neighbors panels to see if they are the same and have the labels in place.
