There's no way that's new construction. It was probably done long after the plug was installed.

Good advice for sure Mag.....however, looking at the condition of those walls above the ceramic and wooden trim, I would have to say that nothing on that job was planned. Looks like years of reno's to me.

Plans lol. When my normal gigs are slow and i end up with the crew roughing new construction first thing i ask the "gc" is whats the tile plans? Halfway? All the way? Border? Normally the response is" ya know i dont even know let me call the buyer"

I just do 40" off rough floor in bathrooms, always fits under tile line, my commercial job got funked like what's posted when they decided wood trim directly at me switch and receptacle hieght, oh well, I'm not loosing any sleep over it.

I normally do 42" to the bottom of the box.

That's the correct way!
