Just had a reputable shop in the area beat me out of a 20 kW genset install.... $1500. I'm a new contractor I get that but how the f'hell?!? $200 gap I would understand.

Get used to it new guy, it will happen many times. Part of being an EC.
No offense at all to the poster BUT, this reminds me of stories of Vietnam I have heard from vets complaining about new guys to the war or as they were known, "F'n new guys". Seeing as I see a new EC on the road nearly everyday, I have come to call them FNG's! lol's:laughing:

Yeah I was right in that range before my gas guy was involved.
