Thanks for the quick reply. The supplier finally told me the built in breaker is 600amp . Where would I order a dual lug setup from? Kohler ? . The gen doesn't come in till January but the rough in has to be done next week . I have to pull the feeders next week as well . Right now I'm figuring parallel sets of 350 mcm copper . Good for I think roughly 620 Amps . That should cover the 100% of OC .

Machine new? Ask who is supplying it. Used go look.
They put a plethora of breakers in the equipment. Each built to a need for that order.
Who is doing the commissioning and testing for the unit?

Keystone Generator in MD. But he hasn't gotten answers for me either .

The largest generator I've wired is a 48 kw 200 amp unit . So this is new territory . And yes I've ordered a 600 amp rated safety switch ( Siemens) ...due in February lol.

So... if you don't have the disconnect or the generator there to land the conductors in, why are you pulling them. Sounds to me like a good way to get the copper stolen.

Builder is trenching next week . We have the template for rough in . The pvc has to go under a huge patio that's being installed in 10 days . It's a 10,000 sq ft home . Unfortunately the RI has to go in now .
