Ive had a Stanley Fat Max for years.....works perfect but Im not sure they make it anymore

thinking about getting the M12 myself.......have plenty of batteries already so that shouldn't be a problem

I have one of these and had it for a while works great for what I use it for. But have used the Milwaukee too both work great. I think Milwaukee cost more and if you don't have 12v batteries the other might be a better choice.

used one of those for a few years

didn't like it and didn't find it very accurate

and the glued on rubber feet fall off and get lost easily

I have the same one, I picked it up a few years ago. It stays in the truck 24-7. I think I replaced the batteries once a couple years ago.

I can't see buying one that takes an expensive 12/18v battery when AA's last forever.

yep, I think ive had mine for 6 years and I only remember replacing the batteries twice
