I have a question regarding VoltageDrop for LED lighting. What I plan to do is run 16–2 stranded wire to each section of the kitchen area that requires LED tape lighting. The job is extensive as to how much LED lighting this customer wants. Basically, he wishes to have LED lighting for the tow kick area, undercabinet lighting and cove lighting above the cabinets. My concern is that possibly the homeruns back to the transformer will be a bit too long. I anticipate running at least 50 to 75 feet per section. The reason I need to do this is that the customer would like to have the areas dimmable separately Such as the Aforementioned locations above.
I don't have any manufacture specifications as to how long each run can be. Would anybody rule against me doing it this way? Also, each section of LED tape lighting is sold in 16 foot sections, FYI.
