Got 2 questions
(1) Can I use a 3 pole manual motor starter as a lighting contactor, or does anyone know of a manual lighting contactor.

(2) can you put 277v on a pushbutton, I thought it was limited to 120v now.

I would, I would just eliminate the OLs.

If you are only switching a few circuits, couldn't you use a 3 pole switch.

I would think the button would have it listed on it, if not, what kind of pushbutton?

Just use one of those motor disconnect switches. 3 poles and rated for 480.
I have a manual switch, 3 pole 200 amp double throw on slate, but I would not want to be feeling around in the dark to find it! Was for a dual feed service. Open hatch, insert hand, flip over.

For what it is worth many motor starters will not have the proper ratings for use as a lighting contactor. 404.14
