Classic broken neutral, call the power company first and have them check their stuff
Lights out, breaker not kicked, power and neutral wires both hot at about 60volts.
I woke up this morning to find lights were out in three rooms. I checked for a kicked breaker. Breaker was not kicked. The breaker reads 120 volts. I checked voltage at several switches and light fixtures. They all showed that the black power wire and the white neutral wires are both hot but only about 60 volts each.
Where do I start to trace this issue, and what exactly should I be looking for?
