When the name plate info is unknown what should the multiplier be to find the locked rotor current?

6x the fla I think. In a decently designed motor application the lra doesn't really come into play.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. Have heard a lot of different numbers but 6x seems to be the most consistent on what I have found

6X the full-load current will get you pretty close.

Generally speaking, the higher the efficiency the higher the locked-rotor amps, but not by much, also the smaller the motor, the higher the LRA.

If the nameplate had a locked-rotor code letter, with a bit of basic math you can get really close.
