Does anyone get into low volt lighting. Ive always had the landscapers do it all but was thinking about getting into it more. Also thinking about doing more interior lighting systems. Thoughts?
Landscape lighting sucks. Dirty, hard back breaking labor. Quote it high, because when your in the dirt the only thing that will keep you going is the idea you're making decent money off it.
Landscape lighting is only profitable if you aquiant yourself with a professional landscape installer and sell thru his computerized layout and perform the rough before sod, mulch ,plants, bushes and trees are laid in. Then you can dump heads and x formers without back breaking time intensive labor.
If you deal with the backwoods crowd just leave them with a roll of wire, some stakes and a couple suitcases of beer.
