Has anyone ever heard or seen a 13.2 KV substation in an industrial setting that was piped with water for a fire supression system? I won't say where or who, but during the renovation of a plant I know the fire marshall instructed the contractor to sprinkle the sub with water lines with the fire activated (melting) heads. Any feedback would be welcomed.

Yes, that's the only way I've ever seen 13.2 gear in new installs. Seems crazy to me too. At least it's not a deluge system.
