ask the inspectorIm taking over a 6 gang meter with 3 meters left for release. My question is for those meters to be released do i need to have the subpanel with its circuits already ran or can the subfeed just be connected to the lugs?

What in the world is the "U" piece of plastic doing going from side to side?
I have never seen a ganged meter section with out main breakers. That requires unfused conductors from the meter to the main breaker in the public domain. Not something allowed where I live and work.
Are you working from approved plans or is someone making this up as they go?
Im just arriving to the jobsite. That main panel will be changed.Cool beans could not see behind the door. Then the question becomes why do you have a main in the panel, the pic.
