Metro detroit michigan apprentice needed

Hello

I work in the state of michigan in the detroit area. We are looking to find some more good apprentices for residential wiring. Anyone looking for a job or know anyone?

If I may be so bold to ask,

What are we paying an apprenti in the metro area of Detroit?

I would think it would be easy to find people to work.

pay? benefits? I'm personally not interested but some disclosure of comp. may help.

It's super easy to find people to work but they want everything handed to them. They ones that actually learn and want to work are few and far between we usually start our guys out at 9-10$ Starting we offer paid holidays I believe 5 a year pay for apprentice classes and lisence fees

Are you doing 8,000 dollar wiring upgrades on those 2,000 dollar houses in Detroit ?

I have a family member who complains because he can't find anybody that:

1. has a DL
2. can pass a background check
3. can pass a drug test
4. can work full time, anytime
5. is dependable
6. is productive

The funny thing is, like you, he pays $10/hr.
