Any of you guys run AC, plumbing, or any other trade out of the same shop as electrical? I already do AC, I use to install new septic systems ($$$). Thinking about diversifying a little.
I had previously owned a company that did both. To me it is much easier to just do one or the other. We just do electrical now. Seems like life is so much simpler. HVAC has such a demand in the Summer in Texas it will just about work you to death. Electrical seems more steady and level.
I do electric and plumbing. They go hand in hand on service work. I try not to say call so and so, Since I'm already at the jobsite with van full o'tools , I try to fix whatever it is. HVAC can be troublshot and repaired most of the time, and what's a plumber do that we can't? All electricians can be plumbers , but not all plumbers can be electricians.
