I've got the '05, and have yet to get the '08 yet. But it's well worth it, especially if you have a laptop you can take into the field.
In many cases, you need to learn the language of the code in order to search for something. The everyday phrases and words we use on the job site usually aren't found (example, 'outlet' instead of the code-word 'receptacle', or 'neutral' when it is really the 'grounded')..... Im having some problems using the CD. I want to find where it talks about different volatges (sources?) in same conduit, raceway etc. You guys are sharp and help me a lot just reading your threads and post. Any comments would be nice on how you use the search bar to find what you are looking for.....
While we are discussing the NEC I have several issues of 1953 any collectors have a duplicates they want to swap. I bought the 1953 and the seller sent me extra copies??????? and YES it was on purpose they sent them.
Books I have are scratched out, I'd really like to fill in the 40's and 50's
