I have a 4" round box with a porcelain (with key) hanging on a wall. The lamp is protected with a plastic cage.

This light gets banged all the time (even with the cage). HO is tired of replacing the lamp and/or cage when broken.

The room is a storage area for seasonal items - clothes, decorations. Basically a "Dog House" off the main attic area. Ceiling height is 6' at best with the light at 5'.

I was thinking of a Vapor Proof Light (cutting in a switch box) but think that's overkill.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

BTW - HO is Mom.

How do you break the cage with clothing???? I like these fixtures for closets. Made by EPCO

use the vapor proof light and add a pullchain to it. easy enough to do.
