Hello everyone..My name is John and I going to school for a degree in electrical construction. It might turn into Electrical Engineering in the future but who knows.. I am in residential & commercial wiring and code.. Do you guys think this will help me start off in a shop around here? This degree requires more than just ELT.. I have to take HVAC classes, fluid power classes, ect. ect... All my instructors are part timers at the college and are full time electricians and Im hoping that from our labs and tests that I can maybe get into one of the shops.. It seems like you have to know someone to even step foot in the door and the michigan economy is one of the worst in the country... Any advise on where this trade is doing better and I have a better chance of moving forward..
