Patents are very specific. You can't say: "I'm putting a patent a a radio/charger combo". It doesn't work that way. If dewalts charged batteries and somebody made it a different way, that's fine.
What they should make is a toolbox with a kickass radio built into it. I could carry my cordless tools INSIDE the radio...oh...and it should also have a charger for M18 and M12 batteries.
dewalt owned the patent for a battery charging radio.
It expired this year...
