[Ultrafault]

I have this motor it looks like a 3 HP single phase but there is no name tag. It needs new leads mice ate the old ones. My problem is I don't know how add leads to it. Can you guys help? Where can I get connectors and sleves? How would I prep the winding wires?

Might just want to make it to a motor shop and let them spruce it up and put new leads on it. They should be able to give you all of the nameplate type info as well so it gets reconnected correctly.

That was my first thought but it is an hour away. He said he would not even give me an idea of what the price will be. I know where the leads go.
It would probably be cheaper all said to buy a new motor.

The rebuild costs make any standard AC motor, less than 20 HP, a throw away.
