Hello all. Master electrician from shreveport, La. Started the trade at 13 and got masters license at age 23. Mainly trained in residential new construction, remodels and troubleshooting. Recently changed careers and became a deputy sheriff but continue to do electric work on my off days. I love the electric trade but work slowed down and had to do something else. I restore antique fans (desk and ceiling) and have a nice collection of both. I also work on 1980's arcade games as another hobby. I collect anything that is antique electrical. Anyways glad to have found the forum and hope to be able to contribute my knowledge. Was trained by a forty year master (my uncle). So I learned a lot of the old school ways. 4th generation master and hope to continue the trade well into the future.

You may not be a star ... ... but you've got fans ! :whistling2:

Nice pics ! I love to see old stuff like that restored .

I have a small collection of old brass switches , lamp sockets , and a few old light bulbs from the 40s .

You can see a picture of some of them on the electrical photos section , listed as antique devices . (page 24)
