can any one tell me how licensing works in new york state? specifically the buffalo ny area? i haven't had much luck on the internet. the only thing i could find is that there is no state wide license. it is a local ? any help would be great

All licensing in NYS is local. There are some county wide licenses, but not many.

I just Googled buffalo ny electrical license and got tons of relevant hits.

Do they require you to display your license number on your truck and advertising? If so, does every county issues a different number?

They don't down here, we are issued cards and vehicle stickers. They are all different numbers, some are county, and then others are towns and villages. There are a total of18 licenses for nazi and suffering counties. Many ecs play the license swap including myself.

So, if you had to list them on all ads it would look like an accountants excel spread sheet?
