Hi
I have been hearing humming/buzzing noise for most part of the day and night. During the day I do not hear much noise , may be because of higher ambient noise as compare to actual noise, after 7 pm it just gets little loud. I called Gas , Electrical and water utility company to have it checked. They all say , it is ok from out side. I turned off the main power from panel and i still hear some noise. Any idea what should I check next? I do not know what to check at this point.

Thanks

It's most likely originating from a local transformer,
At night time around 7pm is when power demand would be peaking,
So the tranny is working at it's hardest, so it's naturally louder.

Low frequencies I.E. 60hZ are easily transmitted thru the ground
and could eminate again from a concrete slab a hard ground
or a large wall.
it's known as "resonance".

Internally generated sounds(inner-ear/brain) come in all shapes and sizes, heard by you and you alone! Enjoy it! I'm surprised somebody hasn't tried to copyright it. All together now!!
