Is this solving a real problem? I mean, it's neat, and I'm a gadget guy, but wow. I'd have to have a hell of a lot of strut to hang to consider that. Can't say that I've ever had some all-thread and nuts kick my ass.

We actually have some tray runs that are 5 layers deep. We've set up our shop to do a lot of pre-fab and are just looking for faster ways to do things. Right now we have a JW, an apprentice, and a material handler pre-fabbing. I'll get some pics of the shop and some of the stuff they're building.

There are several brands of those split locknuts and split square washers. I got a free box from a caddy rep and used them. They sure were nice. Although I never checked the price, I'm just felt in my gut they were probably too expensive to be worthwhile. Hard to say. Guess it depends on how important it is to you. I use the outside of my drill chuck to spin regular locknuts down long allthread, so it's not that bad to do it the traditional way, for me.
