We had 2 house fires around our area,6 fatalities.Smoke alarms ,no batteries. I don't like to see children go like that.

I just found out 3 weeks ago, the person who installed the smoke detectors in my house (before I bought it) had them hooked up to the hall light switch leg. It was a 3 way so I assume he got messed up. Needless to say I corrected that issue.
