I have a job were I have to complete some one line drawings, nothing complicated nothing that requires engineered drawings.

I am looking for reasonably priced software that is not overly complicated to learn, PC or Mac either would work.

Anybody use andthing besides CAD

I am interested in this too.

I have a few towns around here that want a line diagram (and load calculation) included with the permit application for a residential service upgrade. Completely pointless.

I've been drawing them out by hand, but I would rather have something more professional looking.

I use EasyPower, but it's probably a LOT more than you're looking for; great program, lots of capability, but not cheap.

You might want to consider DraftSight if you're looking for something similar to CAD, but free.

Draw IO

Free. Has an electrical library included , though I doubt it is the type of library to suit your particlular need Brian, but you never know till you check it out.
