Why waste money on green wire nuts???? You can use an ideal gray for that situation and use it on circuit conductors too. Greens are ONLY good for grounds. One less thing to stock on the truck.

I would cut the extra wire off past the crimp. Other than that, is there 6 " of free conductors? I liked using Ideal crimps doing residential.

I don't like it, but only because I hate those type of crimps. It might be legal, it might be of workmanship like quality but I will never like them.
