It's perfectly acceptable and remember that in the future when working in a dead panel.My boss has me running 3/4 emt's between 2 panels to move circuits from one panel to another to separate house and tenant circuits for metering.
Doesn't seem right to me, I don't like that it creates a condition where live circuits could be in a de-energized panel- seems dangerous
any code violations in this method- cant find them myself
