Hey guys , got a call to check out some light on a indoor / underground pool . Wanting to change bulbs while the water level is down. I was surprised the bulbs are 120v 500watt hologen bulbs with a small base. Any body ever heard of a LED replacement for something like this? No real familiar with pool lighting? Thanks

They make led for almost everything so I am certain there is something out there.

I just did a search and there are many LED pool lights-- here is a 300 watt replacement LED from ebay http://www.ebay.com/bhp/led-pool-light-120v

Thanks Dennis , never new how much was out there.
This customer has a crap load of money , but hates to part with any of it.
Have to come up with a good spiel on how much $ will save him in the long run, problem is he is around 85years old, there may not be a long run!
Thanks again

He will never make his money back on that pool light. The light would need to be on 24/7 and he would need to be younger to see any savings. Pool lights are not on that much so it is not worth the cost of the LED unless he is doing it for environmental reasons.
