Greetings all!
I have a question regarding the removal of the secondary winding fuses that are feeding a multifunction protective relay 27/47. I keep hearing that a catastrophe will occur if this fuse is removed while the PT is energized. Is this true? I know that will happen if a current transformer is removed while energized and feeding but a PT???? Just for some history the 27/47 unit went bad and needs replacement and the power cannot be shut down. The fuses are in a 4 x4 fuse holder rated at 240v with 10 amp fuses.
Thanks Brian
