Ok. I have a 7 year old milwaulkee ni-cad drill/hammer. She's been great to me but I want to upgrade to a lithium ion set.

I want at minimum a drill/hammer and battery sawzall. I am debating between another Milwaulkee or possiblu Ridgid. Anyone have any suggestions or expierence with the newer models? I know milwaulkee has a 28v set as well. And I might get a hammer drill as well which 28v might be good for.

Anyone have expierence with either or another brand that you like?

I almost went with 28v milwaukee. When the fuel 18v brushless came out I went with that.
I believe there will be more 18v tools and the lighter smaller stuff is strong enough for my mostly remodeling and service work.
Definitely mikwaukee either way for me.

Personally, I believe Milwaukee had some issues with their Fuel line when they first introduced it and have quietly made product improvements. They have been more than generous with my warranty claims. I don't have any problems recommending them.

Techtronic obviously knows the value of the Milwaukee brand name.
