I've had a tdr on my 'to buy list' for a while, what did that set you back and how you like it?
It was a gift so I'm not sure of the cost.

I just got it today, I use TDRs troubleshooting irrigation systems and so far I like having the combination of DMM, TDR and event logging. Cuts down on space in my tool bag for starters.

The display is really easy on the eye.

I'll have to use it a bit and report back.

Looks cool, I had been eyeing up the snap shot TDR. A few people I know have it and recommend it. Looking forward to your review on the meter.
I just ordered the snapshot from amazon for $195. Hope it's good, I've never owned a TDR so I'm sure I'll be happy with it. As for the prowler, I found it but it goes for over $600, and I'm not ready to blow that amount for a tool that won't get used often. Fwiw, I'll let you know how the snapshot works out.

I'm liking this meter. It's like going from a flip phone to an iphone for me. Less to carry, the screen is large and well lit for low light conditions. TDR is pretty accurate.

I'll post a few pics soon.

A big percentage of what I do is locate and repair underground faults. My number one go to device is a Timco Spitfire, mine is ten years old, pretty low tech, and it works great! TDRs don't seem to work too well in the underground application compared to the Spitfire. Maybe this one is different? The Spitfire ten years ago was around $1800.00(worth every cent!) so the Prowler at $600.00 seems reasonable. I also own a ton of other gadgets, most cost more than $600.00 so I'd like to hear about about you experiences.
