We just did a job where we had to wear PPE (40 Cal) for most of the day, I restricted the area, yet everyone and their brother including the safety man wanted to take a peek, NOOOOOOOOOOOO, not just move back LEAVE the area.

It's almost required that one of our guys who should be working is on guard duty in PPE keeping people clear of the boundaried area

I worked on the Reich Farm Superfund site in Toms River, NJ years ago. We assembled and maintained the "thermal desorber" (dirt burner) and had tyvec and full face respirators required as PPE. The site was in the middle of an old farm. The adjoining property was covered with horse trails. We always had to explain to the horseback riders that the contamination that we were protecting ourselves from didn't pass throught the orange construction fence. :thumbsup::thumbsup:
