I'm a mechanical engineer. We need water lines run to the opposite side of our production facility. The best route above the floor runs near a 460 volt bus duct.
Is it permissible to run propex type water lines near a high voltage bus duct?
What is the code/standards regarding this situation?

NEC adresses foreign piping above panels and switch gear. I have never come across any same prohibitions regarding bus duct. I also am not familiar with propex, but I assume maybe it is pex of some form. If so, and if rats or squirrels are issued access cards and badges to the facility, I would give it some extra thought.

To mcclarify, If by duct bus do you mean an exposed linear bucket type system that have disconnects or breakers which you can tap power from?. Or do you mean a raceway above or below a ceiling that only have continuous wires?

How close is "near"? What's the pressure on the line? I doubt you have an issue but it's impossible to say without the details
