1) Is it ok to fit dimmable led lights with dimmable transformer and a non dimmable switch.

2) For a 70w transformer connected to three led bulbs what is the max voltage for each bulb, using 4w led bulbs.


Please could I have some help guys :).

Hello Alfred Welcome to the forum...:thumbsup:

I do not know if that would work.

They do make dimmers switches for dimmable LED'S.

What is the voltage rating on the lamps?

Most led lamps are 12v.
3 x 4w = 12w at 12v that's 1 amp.
Your 70w tranny easily has the current capacity.
But some electronic trannies require a minimum load to work
Be sure yours doesn't !

Thanks for the help guys :)

So if I have a 70w driver can I attach it to three 4W, 12V bulbs? The driver can be attached to up to three bulbs.
