Hi,


I have a question about some calculations I have done but am having trouble understanding if they are correct. So, right to the meat of the problem. The question ask a cook top is 14kw and is connected to 240 volt, What is the demand load. So, this is how i solved for the problem please tell me if im correct in the way i am doing the calculation. i took 14kw -12kw=2kw; 2kw*.5%=10%; Column C 8kw*110=8.8 Demand Load. Is this right or am i doing something wrong. The 110 is the non-continuous load.

This is correct but you have a typo - it is 5% not .5%.

The range is a non continuous load.
