Does anybody have any info/ test questions on this?
I have just challenged and failed by 1% so I need to be sure when I refit in a month. Seems hard to find specific material on the industrial red seal. I have bought the esat from csa but this is for construction. Some will bs relevant I am sure but would be nice to get more material regarding specific industrial electrician questions etc. it nay be I can just sit again and will pass but will be complicated if I fail a second time. Have to prove training etc. am from uk by the way and living in Vancouver. Thanks for anyone's help.

Since when did they make a specific designation for industrial?

I don't know, but there are 2 ip red seal certifications in bc anyway. One for construction electricians and one for industrial electricians. I figured go for the industrial as that is where most of my experience is I.e. Plc/automation/control etc etc.

You're sure it's red seal or just a BC thing?

Red Seal is the interprovincial standard for "electrician".

You should go for your red seal. Everybody in BC ends up working in Alberta anyway. Your BC license is useless anywhere else.

I think you may have answered another question I just posted. Is the 442A final exam the same as the Red Seal test?

Try electricalexam.ca. They have the only couse that works for the 442A. It is a tough test
