i need help with this one..not sure about that. do electrician have to look for that wiring may be grounded or not all the time before changing the 2 slot outlet to 3..any help related to this.

Make sure there's an ungrounded, a grounded, and a grounding conductor and have them replace it with the correct receptacle.
