Whats the best Roto-Hammer for driving rod that you guys are using?

We have a bunch of smaller Roto-Hammers, so I am looking to go large, but not demo hammer large.

I have one similar to that it's a little light I think I would have gone a little bit bigger if I could have I bought it used at a rental yard

We have rented them a few times, but I am tired of renting the stupid things when I could have just invested that into a purchase. It will get used, so it should be worth the grand for it.

A contractor that works for me uses this Bosch demolition hammer http://www.boschtools.com/Products/Tools/Pages/BoschProductDetail.aspx?pid=BH2760VC

They use a "Driveze" Ground rod driver that slides over the rod. You can do some serious ground rod driving with that setup.

I cannot find a good link at this moment for Driveze but I will keep looking.

That is the one I use, works great..

call a few rental yard and see if they have any for sale that are used I bought mine for 250 bucks runs great

I have a very similar model Bosch,I bought on 2003. Works great for driving ground rods.

I have a few large hammer drills but this one is the one the guys grab first.
