I like this one, feeding lights wrapped around railing and door frame too.

........I'm thinking that rock is used to hold it in the socket.

The best tip I aquired is dipping all male ends in either die electric grease or vaseline. Minimizes nuisance tripping from water entering plugs.
This HO declined my offer to install a GFCI and bubble cover while I was there. I told them the kitchen/bath reno was spec'd for decora by the contractor , they declined that too wanting standard duplex and toggles.

Nope, I'll be slashing romex for a while, got 3 other new builds . I'm on my last day tomorrow at McMiseryMansion doing tstats , doorbell and outside lights.
