Not sure why this is popping into my head right before I sleep, but what do you guys use to seal conduit when it comes out of s structure below grade. Example: Running 1" pvc/emt out of a basement to a shed. Duck seal? Fire caulk? Silicone?

In this area basements are poured concrete and we never go through it. We go through the rim joist and use a pull-el or LB to angle into the trench. We also use IMC instead of PVC.

Are you trying to seal the inside of the conduit or around the outside of it? Here's the links for Backstay and Jlarson's posts:

The ONLY long term protection from conduit sealing for me would be

DUCTOLOX 431

I have used it on interior and exterior of conduits with great results because it is Hydrophilic. It used water to cure. Funny product but works.

Linkseal is great too but not in all sitautions.

Well try 67 and still working ... So I'm allowed to make a mistake or two but I try not too. Lol .. That would make u a young puppy compared to me still
