An inverse time it's used for feeder short circuit protection, what size protection is required for the following three phase motors 40hp,52flc,20hp,27flc,10hp,14flc,5HP,7.6flc

I pretwist and then use wire nuts. Solder pots rule.

How about you tell us and show how you came to the answer.
This is homework right.

I went to trade school with a kid that had a HD superglide. Weird.

I would flip open my code book, go to the index, go to motors, then short circuit protection. If I remember correctly there is a chart based on the type of OCPD that shows you what percentages you can use to calculate feeder OCPD sizing.
