So my internet connection is running slow even though I have "high speed internet". My ping is usually 10-20 ms which I'm told is good. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and recently did a factory reset. So whats the deal??!

Your profile states that you are an electrician. If that is the case, you should know that nobody is going to be able to help you with the little information you have gave us.
What other information do you need? I told you my ping and what computer I have..

I would first go from the modem directly to the laptop. I would also try another computer and see if that is better

Is there anything else connected to the switch? I'm with Dennis, connect directly to the modem and see what you get. Also, how old is the modem?
The netgear switch has 10 ports. I have my xbox plugged into it but its not currently on. Im just going to buy a new laptop lol

I was having a problem with my connection a few months back. It would work great for a few minutes then would drop the connection. Turned out to be the modem.
Modem is brand new and my xbox connection is great. I think my POS dell laptop just needs to be replaced. Thanks for replies
