I've been asked to identify sets of conductors and determine whether or not they are allow to be submerged in water for extended periods. If they are allow the be underwater, then how long before the insulation is expected to last.

upon review of the types of conductors, it seems to be suitable for "wet" locations which is not the same as submerged. Thought I would ask here to get a second opinion.

Type USE-2/RHH/RHW-2 = use for underground in conduit and wet locations not exceeding 90 degrees

Submersible pump cable is submersible, but we all know our THWN in UG conduits are pretty much submersed.
