So do i Rollie, in fact i like to think of all my T&M as small fill ins between larger contracted jobs.

Which is similar to myself CS.

I have two guys in a cabinetry/millwork shop now which are on T&M doing connections on various new pieces of wood working and CNC equipment.
Much of the equipment is european spec'd and there was just no way to bid it without seeing the equipment so........ T&M. The absolute best we were able to negoiate for the deal was 20% on material and $175 an hour for the two men, which translates into approx 13% profit for this job.

Another EC was willing to do it at 20% on material and $150/hr for the two guys but couldn't put anyone on it for 3 weeks.

Well that's a grand example of T&M Rollie, happy help, customer & respectable profit.

I've had some good jobs like that as well.

Thing that's hard is being committed to them while that golden (30% +profit) goose flys on by .....:(
